Product Care and Safety
Usage & Safety Guidelines
Authorized Service Only
Repairs and maintenance should be performed only by an authorized Union dealer. Do not attempt to service the boots yourself.
When in Doubt, Don’t Ride
If your boots show signs of damage or questionable performance, have them inspected by an authorized dealer before use.
New Boots, Old Setup? Get a Check
When pairing new boots with used bindings or boards, always have a complete system check and adjustment performed by a professional.
Do Not Modify
Do not dismantle, modify, or alter your boots in any way. Doing so can compromise safety and void your warranty.
Boot Liner Is Not Heat Moldable
Forma Pro boot liners are NOT heat moldable. Heat molding may damage the liners and will void your warranty.
Snowboarding Only
These boots are designed exclusively for snowboarding. Do not use them for other activities.
Adjust Properly Before Riding
Ensure all functional systems—laces, straps, closures—are properly adjusted and secured before each use.
Binding Compatibility
Use your boots only with snowboard bindings that are properly fitted and adjusted to them.
Keep Contact Points Clean
Before stepping into your bindings, remove any snow, ice, or debris from the soles and binding contact points.
Inspect Before Every Ride
Before each use, check for any worn, broken, or missing parts (buckles, rivets, cables, shell, sole, etc.). Do not use the boots if any components are damaged.
Walk With Care
Avoid walking long distances in snowboard boots. Walk carefully on hard or slippery surfaces and avoid shuffling indoors to prevent wear and reduce slipping hazards.
Choose the Right Socks
For optimal comfort and fit, wear socks of appropriate size and thickness designed for snowboarding.
Care & Cleaning
Use Only Water & Mild Soap
Clean your boots using lukewarm water and a mild soap. Harsh cleaners or chemicals may damage boot materials and compromise performance.
Dry Slowly and Naturally
If the liners become wet, remove them and allow to air dry at room temperature. Do not use radiators, heaters, or microwaves.
Proper Storage
Store your boots closed, in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Avoid Excessive Heat
Do not expose your boots to temperatures above 45°C (113°F).
Warning
Snowboarding is a hazardous sport which can result in serious injury, or in certain circumstances, death.
Always check your snowboard boots before each use, ride within your ability level, and abide by the mountain responsibility code.
For proper function, the boot sole and binding must be cleaned of snow, ice and dirt.
Snowboard bindings must only be used with snowboard boots.
Always use a boot-to-binding leash and stomp pad (traction device) when snowboarding.
